Aged smoked Lapsang Souchong from 2009, sourced from Tongmuguan (Wuyi Mountains) at around 1350 meters altitude. Made from early buds and leaves of the Xiao Zhong cultivar. The tea is traditionally smoked over Wuyi pine wood for approximately 26 hours. The entire process is fully handmade, preserving the authentic character of classic Lapsang. Over years of aging, the tea has transformed significantly: the taste has become smoother, rounder, and sweeter. The smokiness is well integrated into the structure—refined and not harsh. The flavor reveals notes of prune, a light citrus acidity (lemon), pine, and natural sweetness. The infusion is full-bodied, warm, and deep. Provides a warm, relaxing state with a mild tea intoxication. It gently energizes while calming the body and mind. This tea can withstand up to 15–20 infusions, becoming softer and sweeter with each steep. Brewing Recommendation to Unlock its Depth:
Water Temperature: 95–100 °C (203–208 °F)
Tea Amount: 4-5 grams per 150-200 ml
Steeping Time: First infusion: 10 -20 seconds. This tea excels with multiple short steeps; increase time gradually for subsequent infusions to explore its evolving character.
Experience the dignified strength of ancient wild trees.
